What light stalkers is

light stalkers is a photo-sharing service. You upload photos, organise them into albums and collections, and choose what stays private and what you share — publicly, or via a secret link. Each person is independently responsible for the photos they upload and share. light stalkers provides the technology.

Accounts

You need a valid email address and a public handle to use light stalkers. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One person may not maintain more than one account.

Your photos

You retain ownership of every photo you upload to light stalkers. By sharing a photo on light stalkers you grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, resize, and display it solely as needed to operate the service — your profile, album and collection pages, and the share links you create.

You must only upload photos you have the right to share. If you delete a photo, album, or your account, we stop displaying that content and remove the underlying files.

Sharing and visibility

Private albums are visible only to you. A public album or collection is visible to anyone. A secret share link lets anyone who has the link view the album or collection — including private ones — until you rotate or disable the link. Treat share links like passwords: anyone you give one to can pass it on. We can't control who opens a link once you've shared it.

Acceptable use

Photos must comply with applicable law. You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that depicts or promotes harm — including any sexual content involving minors. We may suspend or remove accounts and content that violate these terms, and we report illegal content to the relevant authorities.

Explicit nudity

Our servers are hosted in a jurisdiction whose laws restrict sexually explicit imagery. To comply, you may not upload, store, share, or link to photographs containing explicit nudity or sexually explicit content. This restriction applies regardless of an album's visibility — including private albums and secret share links — because the files are stored on our servers either way. If you are unsure whether an image qualifies, do not upload it. We remove content and accounts that breach this rule.

Spam and abuse

Zero tolerance. light stalkers is for sharing your own photos — not for unsolicited bulk content, scraping, or using share links to distribute material to people who didn't ask for it. Accounts used for abuse will be removed without warning, and their content removed with them.

AI use

light stalkers is operated by 8by3, who use AI tools as described in the 8by3 AI policy. By using light stalkers you accept that policy.

Your data

light stalkers only stores information needed to operate your account and provide the service. We do not sell your data, and we don't run third-party tracking on public pages. See the privacy policy for detail.

Service availability

We aim to keep light stalkers available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. light stalkers is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of light stalkers after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
